One of my morning clients today came in to say that she took an unfortunate fall yesterday in the lunchroom…Here’s what she had to say: “I was in small heels, and the floor was freshly cleaned ..I had a smoothie in my hand and as I walked out of the room, I slipped!   My hand was so strong that as I grabbed for the door jam to help stop my fall - it crushed the smoothie cup, and my abs, glutes and thighs were engaged to tightly that I didn’t fall to the floor! I just bumped my head on the doorjam – if I didn’t do Pilates it would have been alot worse – I could have broken something!” – Client KS

Knowing the right muscles to tap into immediately as something like this happens to you is crucial – it’s something that happens immediately, without thinking – and isn’t it great that KSs’ muscles responded!
